Its... PURRFECT!

This is an entry to the 2026 GMTK Jam with the theme of 'COUNT DOWN'.

In this game you play as a cat who must stack letters on its head in order to spell out words to gain points before the time runs out! But there are bombs and such you have to shoot.

HOW TO PLAY:
A + D : Move Left and Right
Space: Start Game + Submit current stack
Mouse: Aim
Right Mouse: Shoot
Left Mouse: Speed block descent

Longer words get exponentially more points, so it is best to aim for those. 

THEME:
British players have probably heard of the game show sensation "Countdown" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Countdown_(game_show)).
Well there's another game show called "8 Out of 10 Cats" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/8_Out_of_10_Cats) which had a spin off titled "8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/8_Out_of_10_Cats_Does_Countdown) which ended up being much more successful than "8 Out of 10 Cats". Regardless, its essentially Countdown but the contestants are comedians.

Where was I going with this,.. right, so basically I wanted to make a game about what the other 2 out of 10 Cats did instead of Countdown. They played an EXTREME version of one of the Countdown games in the EXTREME dimension!!! 

ACCESSIBILITY: I realised quite late that the indicator colors on the blocks were not colour blind accessible, so I quickly added two accessibility options.
A: Uses a blue + vermilion based color palette.
B: Adds bracing around letters to indicate meaning. 
[X] - adding creates valid prefix.
{X} - adding creates invalid prefix.
!X! adding creates valid word.
